Yes, I think I’d definitely prefer that. Who cares that my patch is about 10ft square and completely overgrown, Lia’s ravishing candle lanterns, made from baby-food jars, and her tiny moon-gazing pond, for meditating on the reflection of the full moon (or, where I live, the orange sodium street light) are instant mood-lifters for dark winter evenings.

Since I discovered 2(x)ist, about 5 years ago, that is all I wear. I assumed all men’s underwear would be the same, having only purchased white cotton Jockey’s in 3 packs at a low price since a kid (I am 60 now). I tried 2(x)ist and found no comparison in the feel. I am not into the loosness of boxers, no matter what the trend is. This style is very comfortable, but I personally prefer the 1003 contour pouch brief.

I have long been a hater and non-wearer of underwear. This hate wasn’t a blind hate or a specific hate towards a single style; I hated all underwear. At the beginning of this semester, I was faced with a challenge, scrubs. The polyester/cotton blend just didn’t provide the same security as the denim of my beloved 501 style Levi’s did. I had to get underwear. I tried out a few of the easy-to-find-in-store brands, Hanes and Jockey, my heart and junk were left squashed. Then I did what any reasonable man of means and knowledge would do I took my search to the Internet. It lead me to the trendy 2(x)ist brand over and over again. I was put off by the price, a little over fifteen dollars per pair, but had to try them. I ordered a pair. They came in a box. A slide out box. Underwear in a well-designed slide out box. I loved that time was put in the packaging of the product and after putting them on I knew why. They deserved a pretty box and I deserved the underwear. I quickly ordered a week’s worth.
