Louise Redknapp suffered a hair malfunction before attending an awards ceremony yesterday (23.11.11).

The TV presenter - who is married to former soccer star Jamie Redknapp - decided to touch up her hair colour before attending Red's Hot Women Awards 2011 in association with euphoria Calvin Klein in London but was horrified when her usual golden brown locks turned a dark brown shade instead.

However, the practical beauty didn't let it stop her from enjoying the event and simply tied her hair back.

A source told BANG Showbiz: 'Louise arrived a little bit late to the event as she had a bit of trouble with her hair colour. Her golden brown locks had been dyed too dark that morning, so she arrived looking gorgeous as ever but with her hair tied back.'

Later, Louise, 37, was spotted taking a picture of a fellow reveller's hair with her camera phone saying 'That's the colour I want.'

Louise always tries to keep her locks in good condition after experiencing thinning hair during pregnancy and earlier this year became the face of nourishing supplement Nourkrin.
