SILVERTHORNE - At the Outlets at Silverthorne office, General Manager Jayne Esser can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel, along with small sections of her desk.
"We like to call this real estate," Esser said.
Paper and work have been piling up during the mall's 24-hour busy Black Friday, which has left offices a mess, but business booming.
"We were packed when we opened at 9 p.m. last night. Every lot was full," Esser said.
Last year, parking lots were filled with 17,000 cars, which equates to about 40,000 people. This year, by opening a few hours earlier before the usual midnight madness of Black Friday, stores are reporting even better sales.
"In talking to the retailers, they are very happy. Most are saying the customers are spending more money this year than last year," Esser said.
In fact, at Calvin Klein business is up 25 percent. At J.Crew, Associate Sales Manger Taylor Grebetz says that they're seeing double the volume.
