Just one assist away from tying Stanford’s single-season and career marks, Noyola seemed poised to enter herself into the record books in her final collegiate game. She did just that on Sunday, but not with yet another helper. Instead, Noyola, a World Cup midfielder known more for her versatility and command of the game than for her scoring touch, headed in the first College Cup Final goal in Stanford history in the 53rd minute of a back-and-forth contest against the Blue Devils.

The goal was set up by a sliding cross from her fellow senior Camille Levin, a former youth teammate of Noyola’s. Levin had one of the strongest games of her career and was arguably the best player on the field today for either side. She helped force at least four of Stanford’s nine corners, and for much of the match, on defense, she nullified the dangerous Mollie Pathman, who had two goals in Duke’s semifinal win over Wake Forest.

The seniors Lindsay Taylor and Kristy Zurmuhlen ended their careers on a quieter note but played solidly nonetheless, coming up with several late clears to ice the victory.

I absolutely love these jeans! They sit perfectly low in front (without being ridiculously low), and higher in the back so I don’t have to worry about things I don’t want showing everytime I bend over. I do recommend getting a size smaller than you normally would because the little bit of stretch they have in them seems to make them loosen up after wearing them for a little while. I’m so mad at Levi’s for discontinuing these jeans! I’ve tried on the line that is supposed to be replacing the 545 low boot cut, and they do NOT fit the same, or look as flattering. Thumbs down to Levi’s marketing department, thumbs up to the 545 low rise boot cut! Grab them while you can.

I really do want to love these jeans, I wish my body looked better in them. I love the look and style, until I try to sit or bend down…way too much skin showing (looks like you’re not even wearing pants). I had to send them back, they might be better suited for thinner women without as much to show. I’m about a size 9/10 so I’m not all that large – only in certain areas (my upper body is thinner than my lower body). I have a tough time finding jeans that fit my difficult shape. The Levis 515′s are better suited to my shape. I wish I could’ve kept the jeans, but it’s not likely that I would be standing the entire time I’d be wearing them!...
