Tendulkar fell for 94 with the milestone in sight as India piled up 482 all out in their first innings on the fourth day of the contest at the Wankhede Stadium.

With a first innings lead of 108, West Indies disappointingly lost two wickets before the close to finish the day on 81 for two.

Opener Kraigg Brathwaite (34 not out) and Darren Bravo (27 not out) have so far combined in a 51-run, third-wicket stand to rescue the Caribbean side from a tentative position of 30 for two.

Ashwin emerged as the unlikely story of the day, however, carving out a fluent 103 to put India past the follow-on and crush West Indies' hopes of forcing a positive result.

In the process, the 25-year-old off-spinner, who made his Test debut in the Delhi opener three weeks ago, joined two illustrious Indians, Vinoo Mankad and Polly Umrigar, in scoring a hundred and taking five wickets in an innings.

The wait is not yet over for the cricket lovers as Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar missed his 100th ton by just 6 runs in the third Test at the Wankhede stadium on Friday when he nicked one delivery by Ravi Rampaul.

Its been seven months that Sachin has been waiting to achieve the iconic milestone but  Friday morning once again, it was just not be. Sachin had scored his 99th ton against South Africa in the World Cup in March 2011.

Resuming on an overnight score of 67, Sachin scored well above run-a-ball strike rate on Friday morning as the countdown to his 100th ton had begun.

The Windies even tried the short stuff, trying to unsettle Tendulkar but soon the master was in full flow, driving and cutting like only he can....

I absolutely love these jeans! They sit perfectly low in front (without being ridiculously low), and higher in the back so I don’t have to worry about things I don’t want showing everytime I bend over. I do recommend getting a size smaller than you normally would because the little bit of stretch they have in them seems to make them loosen up after wearing them for a little while. I’m so mad at Levi’s for discontinuing these jeans! I’ve tried on the line that is supposed to be replacing the 545 low boot cut, and they do NOT fit the same, or look as flattering. Thumbs down to Levi’s marketing department, thumbs up to the 545 low rise boot cut! Grab them while you can.

I really do want to love these jeans, I wish my body looked better in them. I love the look and style, until I try to sit or bend down…way too much skin showing (looks like you’re not even wearing pants). I had to send them back, they might be better suited for thinner women without as much to show. I’m about a size 9/10 so I’m not all that large – only in certain areas (my upper body is thinner than my lower body). I have a tough time finding jeans that fit my difficult shape. The Levis 515′s are better suited to my shape. I wish I could’ve kept the jeans, but it’s not likely that I would be standing the entire time I’d be wearing them!
