Zero Tolerance meeting

ST. THOMAS - A meeting for coaches involved in the Zero Tolerance 9-12 Drug Free Basketball League is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Charlotte Amalie High School gymnasium. All teams must send a representative.

American Airlines Charity Golf Classic

ST. CROIX - The American Airlines Charity Golf Classic for the Queen Louise Home for Children will be held through Sunday at the Carambola Golf Course. The organization is celebrating its 28th anniversary and has grown into the single largest annual fund raising activity for the Home. The week-long event now generates $200,000 each year.

This year's sports celebrity list includes a slew of active and retired Major Baseball Players along with team scouts, instructors and broadcasters. There will be a practice round Thursday followed by one round of golf each of the next three days. For more information, call Juanita Lawson-Haith at 772-4009 ext. 24.

World Cup qualifier

ST. CROIX - The USVI Soccer Association's 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Group Stage qualifying match against Curaçao at 4 p.m. today at Paul E. Joseph Stadium. The public is invited to show its support for the USVI men's national team.
