Stabbing draws charge

London police have charged one man and are looking for another in a weekend robbery and forcible confinement that left one man with a stab wound. Four men entered a Huron St. residence about 11 p.m. Friday, held a man against his will and demanded money, police said. The man received a minor stab wound. A 22-year-old London man is charged with assault with a weapon, robbery and forcible confinement.

Raids bag marijuana

A London man is charged after police seized marijuana plants and buds worth an estimated $204,980. Officers with London’s guns and drugs unit and the RCMP searched a unit in a strip mall at 1565 North Routledge Park near Hyde Park and Gainsborough roads and an address on Crestview Cres. southwest of Wonderland and Commissioners roads. Officers seized 174 marihuana plants and 1,715 grams of drying bud, police said. A 37-year-old man is charged with trafficking and unlawfully producing a controlled substance.
