Have tried others like Haines and JOCKEY and they do not match up. The cotton in Munsingwear is a better softer, quality cotton and lasts longer. The horizontal opening is much easier to use, especially if you are in a hurry. The over-lapping vertical opening definitely is more difficult to use. If you haven't worn a Kangaroo Pouch by Munsingerwear you have missed wearing the superior comfortable brief. 16 of 16 people found the following review helpful. Disappointing By cloudsandskye When I first started buying this underwear many years ago it was made in the USA. Then, several years later, it was made in Canada. I never had any trouble with this underwear; it was just fine. I bought 18 of these a few months ago and noticed they are now made in India, which might explain why this underwear has become a disappointment. The stitching on the waistband came loose on five, the stitching on the label came loose on one, on four the hem on the inside flap of the fly is wide and well stitched, but on the other 14 it is thin and cheaply stitched, and the leg openings on some are fine, but on others are too tight. MCDOUGALL The items received did not match Munsingwear men's briefs that I've owned previously, so I sent a e-mail to the vendor, Essential Apparel, asking to exchange the items received for a similar type that would fit properly and be comfortable. That was on December 12th, and to date there has been no response. I have purchased numerous items from Amazon.com in the past and this is the first time I have been dissatisfied trying to exchange an item because the seller would not responsd.
